This is good but I think you have to make a distinction between the trailer and poster (both made by a distribution company) and the Total Film magazine cover, which the distributor would not be able to control. The film magazine is an example of the successful generation of publicity - the distributor will have a range of methods to try to gain such publicity - eg press packs, interview schedules for starts/directors, press screenings etc.
